It was strange to see the main shopping street in Ginza fully becoming a pedestrian street with chairs, tables and sunshades in the middle of the road but all that was just super fun. Also the crowd in Asakusa was a way lot bigger than it is usually. The Senso-Ji temple is a sacred place anyway but on these days it’s becoming a lot busier. As a matter of fact all Tokyo is getting busier during the Golden Week. The Sakura (桜 or 櫻; さくら) blossoming also happening these days so the parks are also full with people. There is also footage  about cherry blossoming inside and outside of Japan alongside 2D/3D animations. You can check them here

This footage was captured in 2010 on a brand new HD Panasonic P2 camera. Back then P2 and even HD was a fairly new thing. Unbelivable that it happened 8 years ago as it still feels like yesterday. This footage is getting vintage soon 🙂
