MHW was released in January, 2018 so it’s not a brand new game but at that time it was only released on the PS4 and Xbox One and a year later it came out on PC as well. This game isn’t easy just like Japanese games usually (you can read an article about it “Why Japanese video games are hard?“). Sometimes it can get frustrating on some hunts but the online team hunting option and the awesome graphics and atmosphere can make it fade away. I play(ed) it on the PS4 and during 200+ hours of gameplay it dropped the online connection only 2-3% of all connections which is totally tolerable. Despite the fact that it’s “only” about hunting monsters it’s a very addictive and fun game to play.
Monster Hunter World requires preparation before every hunt.It isn’t a game that you go out to the hunting field and beat any monster. You have to prepare yourself first with the proper weapon, armor, food, potions, mantles, charms etc. So this game is highly complex. Check out these images below to have a look at its complexity.
Monster Hunter World is in the Action, RPG (role-playing) game category but it’s rather action than RPG.
The PC version doesn’t get great reviews but it’s mainly because of the online multiplayer glitches and sometimes strange keyboard controls.Gamers have mostly positive opinion about this game.
A massive DLC is coming in the spring of 2019. It’s called Monster Hunter World – ICEBORNE
