10 Pure Destruction Games

10 Pure Destruction Games | Sometimes you need some tactical, stealth action, puzzle solving, horror, strategy etc. games but sometimes you just only need something that requires no brain activity.Check out these games for pure destruction. The games are in random order.

1. Shadow Warrior 2

Shadow Warrior 2 10 Pure Destruction GamesShadow Warrior 2 is frenetic or more exactly it’s “Wangtastic”. First of all is quite new and looks amazing. Absolutely gorgeous oriental locations and a lot of action. As a matter of fact, this game is only about action spiced with some weird humor. The first part is also cool but if you want to pick the better then go with Shadow Warrior 2. The adventures of Lo Wang won’t disappoint.

2. DOOM

Doom 10 Pure Destruction GamesHands up, if you’ve never heard of Doom.I don’t think there is any gamer on this planet who hasn’t heard of the Doom franchise. It started in 1993! Yes, that is correct, the first part of Doom was released 25 years ago. Anyways, I’m not recommending to play with the first one because that looks lame in these days (of course you can give it a shot if you want some cool retro experience). Instead you should try the latest release of Doom from 2016. Pure destruction? Here we come!

3. Wolfenstein II : The New Colossus

Wolfenstein 2 10 Pure Destruction GamesThe first Wolfenstein game was released in 1981. That was 38 years ago.Insane! Many people think that Wolfenstein is inspired by Doom but actually Wolfenstein 3D (that is very similar to the original Doom) came out in 1992 a year earlier than Doom. Another retro classic. In this game you fight against nazis, in Doom you fight against monsters of hell but the concept is the same : Kill ‘Em All!  Probably the best experience is, if you play the latest release which is Wolfenstein II : The New Colossus but you would probably get very similar gameplay with any of the earlier releases of Wolfenstein such as Wolfenstein : The New Order from 2014 or Wolfenstein : The Old Blood from 2015.

4. Carmageddon : Max Damage

Carmageddon Max Damage 10 Pure Destruction GamesCarmageddon games have a long history. The first Carmageddon game was released in 1997. Since then 4 more games were released with a massive 15 year gap between 2000 and 2015.  This game is about just a neverending madness, an absolute surrealistic Mad Max feeling journey into the deep abyss of insanity. It’s basically all about crazyness because the physics, the 3d models quality, the texture quality are all just not good enough for a 2016 game. But it’s definitely a unique experience and a perfect game if you’re looking for one about nothing but destruction.

5. Just Cause 4

Just Cause 4 10 Pure Destruction GamesThe adventure of Rico Rodriguez continues in Just Cause 4. Another game that won’t exhaust your brain but it’s going to give you a lot of fun while you’re playing it. Firefights, explosions, airplane and car actions on a massive map of some fictional South American country, Solis. Rico comes and Rico wins. Altough it might be worth paying attention that JC4 is not getting good reviews. It looks like a mediocre game with a bit of sluggish performance, not very well made graphics and boring missions. But, if you want to just destruct everything around you this game might be worth to have a look at.

This game is about to kill the monsters of hell. It speaks for itself. Nothing but pure destruction.Obviously, because it’s now 15 years old, graphically outdated but still decent even in these days.If you’re looking for a retro mindless FPS then Painkiller might be a good pick.

Serious Sam 4 is the only game in the list that has not yet been released. Its release is expected in 2019.Until then you can always pick Serious Sam 3: BFE or any other earlier versions of this franchise. There is actually VR version of SS that might be crazy fun to play.

10. Quake

Quake 10 Pure Destruction GamesA classic super retro pure destruction game.Quake was a huge blockbuster in the video game world back in the late 1990’s. It’s basically the classic Doom reloaded. It used full real-time 3D rendering that was a really big deal 23 years ago. Also Quake made the multiplayer gaming experience more famous. Many gamers played this game in big LAN-party rooms. Obviously, this game doesn’t look good at all in 2019 but it’s a real classic and still fun to play it a bit. Basically, Quake is a huge milestone in the video gaming history and every gamer should have a look at it at least, once.
